All That It Takes by Nicole Deese
What a fantastic conclusion! Here’s my review: MY REVIEW It’s taken me a while to be ready to attempt to put into words what I thought of this book. Another book hangover kind of read – in a really good way. The first book, All That Really Matters, was special right from the start, and Pastor Miles McKenzie’s story in All That it Takes is the PERFECT follow-on. I’m so happy we get to read more about Val’s backstory as she was a supporting character. Molly McKenzie’s from All That Really Matters also features in All That it Takes. Yay! Miles is, of course, Molly’s sister. All That it…

Provenance by Carla Laureano
I’m a huge fan of Carla Laureano’s since I read Five Days in Skye. If you have not read it, DO SO NOW! But I digress, I’m here today to review her latest, Provenance. MY REVIEW First, let me say that my review pertains to the audiobook since that is the form in which I enjoyed this story. The audiobook was exceptionally well done. This story explores what it means to belong, to find your place, and what family can mean, even if it doesn’t quite look like what we’d imagined it to. Provenance is another winner and kept me listening. I was rooting for Kendall and Gabriel and…

The Veteran’s Vow by Jill Lynn
It is no secret that Jill Lynn is one of my “go-to” authors. I don’t even read the blurb, I just know I’m gonna love it. So here is my review of her latest. MY REVIEW The Veteran’s Vow was a refreshing read for me because I got to see a glimpse of what service dogs really do. Margo almost stole the show….in a good way, almost. I mean Behr only just bested him in stealing the spotlight, but it was close in my book. Ellery and Behr’s story was compelling and I pretty much could not put the book down until I knew what was going to happen…

Glory Falls by Janine Rosche
Do you know what a book hangover is? Well, now I don’t only have a book hangover after reading this book, but since it is the end of the series, I have a series hangover too! MY REVIEW Glory Falls is the conclusion to the Madison River Romance series. And wow! I seriously got grumpy that I actually had to put it down for one night to sleep and during the day to do all the things. Blue and Thomas will take you on a roller coaster ride until the very end. Goodness, sometimes I wanted to sit Thomas down and give him a talking to, and then at…

Brunch At Bittersweet Cafe by Carla Laureano
MY REVIEW When you can’t put down a book and forgo sleep and stall on work you are meant to be doing, then you know it’s a brilliant book. Brunch at Bittersweet Cafe is one of those and you will need to read this book with snacks on hand. Eclairs to be exact. Melody and Justin have quite a journey in this book and I was cheering for Melody and Justin all the way to the last page. At times they were obstinate and stubborn, but thoroughly adorable to say the least. The dynamics of the friendships between Melody, Rachel, and Ana once again play an important role, as they…

What? What do you mean Romance isn’t for everyone?
Cupid gets a lot of attention today! It's Valentine's Day. In a conversation online recently I was shocked to read that some people, (who will remain nameless) prefer less romance in their reading. What? This I just could not understand. I mean, what? Then I got to thinking, okay so there are different personalities and not everyone is romantic and swoons, but for this gal, I need romance. Not just for the sake of romance, but I am fascinated by the interaction of two people who have a connection and are exploring said connection. So today, since it is Valentine's day, I thought I would share some of my favorite…
