Romantic Suspense

Targeted
Targeted is a collection of 3 Romantic Suspense novellas. My Review Oh my goodness, once you open this book, you cannot put it down. I mean, why would you want to? Action-packed, full of suspense and romance and swoony heroes. What more could a reader ask for? And in novella-sized chunks so that you can read one of the collections by Lynette Eason, Lynn H. Blackburn, or Natalie Walters in one sitting. If you have read the series by these authors that link to these, it is even more fun to see the characters in the series make an appearance. If you had to ask me which of the…

Among the Innocent by Mary Alford
This is the first book I’ve read from this author. MY REVIEW This book might not be for the faint of heart, but my guess is that if you like Romantic Suspense with a touch of Amish and the like, you’re probably fine. But be warned, there is no sugarcoating the trauma Leah Miller endured and her courage to overcome it. This is a chilling page-turner that will keep you riveted to your chair, and maybe hiding under a pile of blankets, but the payoff, in the end, is well worth it. Among the Innocent is well-written and pulls you in from the first page. And the cover of the…

Honor Bound by Hallee Bridgeman
MY REVIEW Wowza! This is the series that I didn’t know I needed and it blew me away! The good news is you don’t have to wait a YEAR before the next book in the series is released. Basically, I read this one, then books 2 and 3 as soon as each of them was released because I preordered them all! Binge reading is a thing! Honour Bound introduces the reader to the Special Forces A team and it’s a wild ride all the way to the end of book 3. (Be sure to also read the prequel to this series, Love in Any Language.) The series begins by following…

Lights Out by Natalie Walters
Lights Out is the first book in the SNAP Agency Series. Here is my review: MY REVIEW Lights Out is the first book in the series and we get to know Brynn Taylor and Jack Hudson. Both with history. For readers who like to actually breathe between chapters, this romantic suspense is engaging while keeping your heart rate at a steady pace. Dealing with National security and presidential safety all the puzzle pieces slowly fall into place to give an engaging story while we get to know this cast of characters. I really hope we get to read Kekoa’s story next. If you read this book, you’ll see why.…

Life Flight by Lynette Eason
Oh my goodness, get ready for a book gush! MY REVIEW So you know you can sometimes read “praise for” the book on the cover, right? Well, those endorsements promised that Life Flight could not be put down from page one. They were not wrong. Phwew! In true Lynette Eason style, Life Flight starts off in the action. The reader is basically at the edge of their seat up to the last page. If you like that fast paced romantic suspense then this one is for you. Penny Carlton’s job is stressful, but add on a serial killer on the loose and things pick up a notch. It just builds…

Standoff by Patricia Bradley
I have been intending to read a Patricia Bradley book for some time and I finally got to do so! I enjoyed it so much. MY REVIEW This is the first book of Patricia Bradley’s that I’ve read and I’m so glad to have found her. She joins my Romantic Suspense favorites such as Lynette Eason, Dee Henderson and Lynn Blackwell. I love it when the writer is so good at hinting at who may have done the crime but still keeps me guessing right up until the end. No spoilers, but I kept changing my mind as to who the murderer was. The main characters, Brooke and Luke…

Fire Storm by Nancy Mehl
I thoroughly enjoyed Nancy Mehl’s Mind Games, so naturally as soon as book 2, Fire Storm came out I had to read it right away. MY REVIEW From the first time I read about Agent Kaely Quinn in Mind Games, I was fascinated by her character. Mehl has a way of keeping me at the edge of my seat as the mystery unfolds. Not only are we dealing with solving crimes, but Kaely Quinn has enough emotional goings-on of her own to keep me invested and turning the pages. Boy! It took a while for my heart rate to get back to normal at the end of this thoroughly entertaining…

Beneath The Surface by Lynn H Blackburn
This is romantic suspense at it's best! With a big emphasis on the Romantic and the Suspense! Hahaha! Seriously loved this book, my poor heart!

Oath of Honor by Lynette Eason
Police officer Isabelle St. John loves her crazy, loud, law-enforcement family. With three brothers and two sisters, she's never without someone to hang out with--or fight with. And she knows they'll be there for her when things get tough. Like when her partner is murdered and she barely escapes with her own life. Oath of Honor is the first of the Blue Justice series. This book introduces us to the St. John family.
