My Top 5 Reads of 2020
My top reads of 2020 all have one thing in common. They blew me away. There were so many I enjoyed, but these really touched me in some way.
In no particular order….or really, in the order in which I read them to be honest….here are my TOP READS for 2020 so far. Disclaimer, I have a few books on my To-Be-Read pile so this list might grow by the end of the year. However, this is it so far.

The Water Keeper – Charles Martin
When I found out this was the first of a trilogy I was so happy! This is a masterpiece. Can’t wait for book 2 & 3.
Set the Stars Alight by Amanda Dykes
This is an author to watch, folks. Her writing is beautiful and heart-wrenching all at the same time and it ticks all the boxes for me. Magical stuff.
This one was so amazing, it left me without words. Speechless I tell you. I couldn’t even review it was so good.
How the Light Gets In by Jolina Petersheim
GENERAL MARKET READS
The Jane Austen Society is a general market read, but it really reminded me of the Guernsey Potatoe Pie book. If you like that sort of thing, you’ll love this one. Again, it’s a general market read (not Christian Fiction). It’s a best-seller, and it’s not hard to figure out why. See my review here. You don’t have to be a Jane Austen fan to enjoy this!
