Over Maya Dead Body by Sandra Orchard

I first heard about Sandra Orchard when I read Deadly Devotion. She even signed our church copy for me.

So I was delighted to read this book. What a great weekend read! Let me just get this out of the way before I proceed: #teamnate

Where was I? Oh yes, Over Maya Dead Body by Sandra Orchard is a wonderfully funny and fast paced murder mystery. Paired with this are Serena Jones’ family and their quirkiness and escapades. Stir in a few family secrets, a few antiquities, some sneaking about….some humor, and then add a generous dash of swoony heroes and you have a winning recipe.

And did I mention, #teamnate?

This steady paced contemporary “who-done-it” is set in Martha’s Vinyard.

Although this book is the third in the series, I read it as a stand alone. In other words, you don’t have to have read 1 & 2 for it to make sense. I think I will, however, go back and read the first two, which are: A Fool and His Monet, and Another Day, Another Dali. I want more Serena Jones and her adventures.
