I have said it before and I will say it again, Siri Mitchell is a talented writer and an artful story teller. This book showcases that. (She is in my top 5 authors for sure!) This one is going to stand the test of time I am sure. (In my opinion anyway)

It is not your typical historical fiction romance, but it is touching, heart wrenching and breathtaking all in one. The book is set in Stoneybrooke, Massachusetts and the story revolves around Susannah Phillips. Her coming of age story is beautifully told with grit and grace. The themes therein are not easy ones to broach, but Siri does so with grace and  skill.

Love’s Pursuit is not a story I will soon forget.
