The Word Guild, which is the Canadian Writer’s Association that I belong to, announced the following:
The Word Guild Releases Short List for The Word Awards, honouring the best of Canadian Christian writing
TORONTO, ON — (CANADIAN CHRISTIAN NEWS SERVICE) — Canada’s best writers who speak into Canadian culture with a Christian worldview will be honoured and celebrated on the evening of Friday, June 23.
Novelists, columnists, apologists, theologians and songwriters are among those who will be recognized in the annual Word Guild Awards Gala.
The 2017 Gala, a black-tie event which is the 29th annual, will be held at the Roma’s Hospitality Centre, at 5980 Shawson Dr, Mississauga.
I guess I now have a reason to go shopping for a new pair of shoes, maybe. Maybe even some heels.
What do you think? Heels or flats?

Thanks Melissa. Perhaps I will try a little heel, to think I used to waitress in 4 inch heels when I was young. Can’t do that anymore!
