I am so happy to hear that this book is one of a trilogy and that we will be hearing more of this story from author, Terri Blackstock!

I can’t recall when the last time was that I read a Terri Blackstock book, it was quite a few years ago and I can’t remember the title of the book either, but when I opened this book I was reminded what I was missing! This book was described as a “riveting read” and well, they were right! I read this book in one day! Could not put it down.

Casey Cox is running for her life. She is wanted for murder and her DNA is all over the crime scene. Brent, her best friend is dead and his parents hire Dyan Roberts to find her and bring her back so that justice is served. Dylan Roberts suffers from PTSD and was honourably discharged after spending time in Afghanistan. He is using his criminal investigation skills to catch the killer and uncover the truth.

Will justice prevail or the evil out there where men with power and money manipulate the truth?
