Glory Falls by Janine Rosche
Do you know what a book hangover is? Well, now I don’t only have a book hangover after reading this book, but since it is the end of the series, I have a series hangover too!
MY REVIEW
Glory Falls is the conclusion to the Madison River Romance series. And wow! I seriously got grumpy that I actually had to put it down for one night to sleep and during the day to do all the things. Blue and Thomas will take you on a roller coaster ride until the very end. Goodness, sometimes I wanted to sit Thomas down and give him a talking to, and then at other times, I’d be yelling, “Kiss the girl!”
The frog thing (in the prologue) was genius!
Blue searches for a new beginning and healing from the loss of her daughter and the disintegration of her marriage. Her childhood friend, Thomas is going through his own struggles over the same traumatic event, but Thomas’s struggles go far deeper. I love how the author brought all of these issues to a satisfying conclusion with unexpected twists that had me grinning from ear to ear. Janine Rosche is an author to watch. Her books are not fluffy, superficial romances. They are deep, meaningful and robust.
I can’t wait to read what’s next in her authorly repertoire.
Do yourself a favor and read the Madison River Series!
I received a copy of this book via NETGALLEY from the publisher. My opinion is my own.

ABOUT THE BOOK
Two people scarred by past trauma have a chance to write a new chapter in their lives, overcome loss, and find love in the third entry in the Madison River Romance series.
Screenwriter Cecilia “Blue” Walker is the victim of life’s worst plot twists. Having lost her daughter to the depths of the Madison River and her husband to the arms of another woman, she finds herself yearning for something to restore her brittle faith and once-vibrant career.
Hope arrives in the form of her childhood friend, Thomas Beck, a firefighter with a legacy of larger-than-life rescues who doesn’t see himself as a hero. Haunted by his past, Thomas only agrees to a movie adaptation of his story if Blue, his longtime crush, is the screenwriter.
However, as Blue and Thomas work together to bring his heroism to the big screen, the glitz and glamour of Hollywood threaten to shed light on secrets that could tear their fragile relationship and their lives apart.
