Everyone Has A Story to Tell

I truly believe that everyone has a story to tell. There is nothing more satisfying than listing to a well-told story. Storytelling is part of who we are, it is part of our history and it can be part of our legacy.

I like to help people tell their stories.

You might like to think you have had an ordinary life, and that is likely because the living of it has been familiar to you.

Perhaps your story is unusual and you admit that. Good for you.

One of the wonderful things that story affords us is that we can learn from other people without having to relive their mistakes.

In sharing your story, you connect with others and they connect with you.

I don’t know of anyone who goes around saying, “I hope I am misunderstood today.”

No. We want to be understood, for people to “get” us. We want to make connections with one another.

What better way to do so than telling your story.

Even better, ask someone else to share their story.

Begin a conversation.

Disclaimer: Whispering at the back of a boring lecture while you ask the person next to you to share their story is not recommended. The lecturer may get upset.
