MY REVIEW

Wow! This book was intense. Pulse pounding is right!  From the first page right to the last. Aside from the suspense, Samuel Parker provides much food for thought. This book is somewhat like a mirror wherein you find you are examining your own motives, your own thoughts and thinking , “What would I do if I were in that situation?”

Cold Water is the second book written by Samuel Parker, the first was Purgatory Road. I found Cold Water  brilliantly thought out and more than just a suspense novel, it was challenging on  personal level. Sort of like a moral plumb line of sorts. Without giving away too much, you will learn a lot about yourself and what you believe while reading this book. Parker examines the very fabric of humanity. Lots to think about.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Samuel Parker was born in the Michigan boondocks but was raised on a never-ending road trip through the U.S. Besides writing, he is a process junkie and the ex-guitarist for several metal bands you’ve never heard of. He lives in West Michigan with his wife and twin sons.
