The Evaporation of Sofi Snow is another winner from Mary Weber. From the action packed page one to the dangerous adventures to find Sofi’s brother this book had me hooked and I want more. The characters are complex and their relationship is complicated, but their connection is strong and I can’t wait to see how it develops over the next two books.
Happy Thursday, March 13th. Are you facing a big change in your life, in your situation, in location or in your job? Today we talk about change, and what that means. We have heard it before, but have we really heard it? That is the question I grapple with today. Please join me for some thoughts on change.
There is so much going on at the moment, with family birthdays, book birthdays, book releases that I almost forgot to post today. Panic averted, by blogger pals came to the rescue, and today we talk about book hangovers. Don’t know what that is?
Today’s review is a non-fiction breath of fresh air in a world of bad news. Your Next 24 Hours, One day of Kindness Can Change Everything tears down some lies we believe, that we can’t make a difference.
I had a few books to read ahead of this one, but then, something happened.
How did it get to be Thursday already? Today’s blog turned out to be completely different to what I thought it was going to be about when I sat down to write it. Today I talk about one pivotal decision that had a domino affect on my life and I want to celebrate it!
March 28th, 2017 was book release day for Catherine West’s latest, The Memory of You and I was fortunate to receive and advanced copy of this book a while back and I have been ITCHING to tell you about it. This story is unpredictable, heart wrenching and delightful all at the same time. Another winner from Catherine West!
Catherine West is an award-winning author who writes stories of hope and healing from her island home in Bermuda. When she’s not at the computer working on her next story, you can find her taking her Border Collie for long walks or tending to her roses and orchids. She and her husband have two grown children. Yesterday she released her latest, The Memory of You and it is another winner! She is here today for a Q & A and you can find out who she best relates to in the book.
Miss Permilia Griswold may have been given the opportunity of a debut into New York high society, but no one warned her she wasn’t guaranteed to “take.”
I just can’t tell you how delighted I am to have read Jen Turano’s latest book, Behind the Scenes, but I will try.
I endured my husbands looks as he put up with me reading and laughing out loud, giggling away (with the occasional snort) from chapter one right to the end. If you have never read a Jen Turano book before, DO IT NOW!! Her hilarious characters, who get themselves caught in hilarious situations are always the highlight of my To-Be-Read pile.
I am beyond excited to have the wonderful JEN TURANO on my blog! #fangirling
Her latest release, Behind the Scenes will leave you laughing out loud. Jen knows how to write historical fiction with a funny bone. I love it! I devour her books in one sitting if time allows. Jen is here with and exclusive interview to answer some questions that I was dying to know. And there is a giveaway, a chance to win a copy of the brand new release.
Yes, it is the first Thursday of Spring! Whoo hoo! I am looking forward to some green and some sunshine! Who is with me? Today I have a lovely guest with me who is always a ray of sunshine to me! Pepper Basham is here as my guest today, she is an author and a mom, and so much more!
As always, the question I ask my guests is: What has been dominating your thoughts lately? Her honest and transparent post will encourage you and hey, she has a new book (which is awesome! Trust me) coming out soon! Very SOON!
