Christmas with Hot Apple Cider is here
It is finally here!
It is beginning to look a lot like……well, Fall, and it is a very special time of the year for me. My husband and I arrived in Canada in September 1999 and we just recently celebrated our 18th anniversary in Canada.
We arrived in fall, just in time to see the leaves turn. We had never experienced such a thing before, and let me say, Maple trees still make me smile, all year round.
Here’s a photo of that special time.
My next favorite time of the year is Christmas, for so many reasons. My story in the brand new Canadian anthology, Christmas with Hot Apple Cider is one about this wonderful time in my life when we had embarked on this adventure to make Canada our new home. Do you know that we had a theme song for this time in our lives……it was that “A Whole New World” song from Disney’s Aladdin.
Without giving too much away, my story is about how circumstances can sometimes change so fast, and all of a sudden you find yourself smack bang in the middle of something unexpected. The title of my story is From Sea Sand to Snowflakes.
The memory of what happened in my story still touches my heart and brings me to tears all these years later. I hope that in this time of trouble and strife in the world, this story will bring you hope. This book is a collection of stories from he season of giving and receiving, and I hope as you read it, you will too be blessed.
If you want to purchase a signed copy, or you have purchased the book and would like a book plate, let me know.
